P.I.N.K. Ivy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization affiliated with the Zeta Sigma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® We are committed to empowering the community serving in the following areas: socio-economics, health education, positive youth engagement and enhancing community relations.
The mission of P.I.N.K. Ivy Foundation is to empower residents of the Portland metropolitan community through socio-economic development, health education and positive youth engagement. We accomplish this by partnering with the Zeta Sigma Omega Chapter and other community organizations to host community events, donate supplies and award scholarships.
Roberta Vann and LaVerne Bagley Brown, along with several other young women from the Portland area helped to charter Oregon's first chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Zeta Sigma Omega Chapter has provided various services throughout the Portland community for over 65 years.
Individual scholarships will be awarded to students who will be attending an HBCU in the Fall of the award year.
Indvidual scholarships will be awarded to students who will be attending any acredited college or university in the Fall of the award year.
Service and sisterhood have been the cornerstone of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® since 1908. With the theme, Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood, the 2022-2026 administration seeks to build upon Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s rich legacy of service by galvanizing our sisterhood of more than 120,000 active members to lead on the front lines of change, education, and advocacy.

This administration has six initiatives. Strengthen Our Sisterhood will serve as the administration’s “Foundation Initiative” as we strengthen our bonds to support our service mission.
These initiatives are designed to improve the lives of those we serve. We will work collaboratively to maximize our outreach on progressive endeavors and consistently produce leaders who will advance our credo of service.
